Tools to development of speaking and listening online in languages learners

This week the article is about “speaking and listening online a survey of internet resources” it was a nice article that presents a lot of tools that the internet offers for language learners to engage in communicative activities. On the other hand, Most of the time learners use apps or web pages to help them in to development their reading and writing skill, but it is not frequent that learners use it to development listening and speaking skill, because in some case is really new for students that exist that kind of tools that help them to practice listening even speaking only using the internet. Students can use different methods to practice these skills For example: audio, video, and computer-mediated communicative programs can help to the teachers and students to create different activities inside or outside the classroom.

There are a lot of web pages where students can practice these skills where students can do some activities like they can share videos, listening podcast, watching videos about news or recording their voice about a topic and share it. Also, learners have the opportunities to interact and negotiate meaning, students are involved in authentic tasks and learners can use it like a feedback.

  1. Hi tatiana ¡¡¡ I loved your reading blogs was quite interesting to read about the new tools that students have to develope their listening and speking skills. Furthemore, I agree with you when you said that many students don't know how to develope these skill with the tecnology, and because of that they practice their grammar and writting with the tecnology than their listening, and speking. However, we us future teachers have a big challenges to teach our students to use different programs to practice those skills.
